Curriculum for residential treatment is a four-week cycle that includes models such as traditional 12-step work, family systems theory and cognitive behavioral therapy. A close alliance with local recovery groups are a vital part of efforts to see that those completing treatment have established a strong support system. Residential treatment services provide structured, intensive treatment seven days a week with a minimum of 33 hours of group therapy and one hour of individual therapy weekly. An episode of care typically ranges between 30 and 45 days.
